At the crucial age between 8 and 12, many kids begin to wonder if Christianity and the Bible are true. Help your kids become truth-seeking detectives with the help of J. Warner and Susie Wallace’s Cold-Case Christianity for Kids. Detective Wallace gets kids excited about testing witnesses, examining the evidence, and investigating the case for Christianity. The book includes author illustrations and links to a website where kids can download activities, fill in case notes, and earn a certificate of merit.
My Thoughts: This book really made digging into the evidence of Christianity fun. My daughter and I read it together and she really enjoyed the illustrations and the way the story was presented. More importantly, it equips kids with answers to questions that may arise regarding Christianity. This would make great curriculum for a Sunday School class, it even includes a certificate of completion at the end of the book and a website with downloadable fill in activity sheets and videos for each chapter.
Knowing why we believe what we believe is crucial, and learning this at a young age is very important. This book really fosters that knowledge in a fun way. I highly recommend it!
